Edward J. Sippel, beloved husband of Patricia L. (Zahringer), wonderful Dad of Gretchen (Kevin) Midgley of Wexford, and Heather (Buzzy) Hartz of Mercer PA. Loved Pap-Pap of Collin (Cailah) Midgley, Miranda Midgley, Jenna (Zak) Logan, George Hartz, and Anthony Gahler. He was excited to soon be a great-grandfather. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the beloved son of the late Jennie Sippel, and brother of the late Mariann (Bob) Brayer, and was also preceded in death by his nephew Chris Brayer.
Ed served in the US Army and had a tour in Stuttgart Germany. He loved cooking (appetizers were his specialty), he was never too serious and always loved to make people laugh, even in the most serious situations. His favorite times were family trips to Cook Forest, and hanging around the fire.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday June 27th from 12 Noon till 4PM at the Rochester Inn 505 Rochester Rd Pittsburgh PA 15237
