Elizabeth R. Coyne

It is with heartfelt remembrance that we celebrate the life of Elizabeth ( Betty) Coyne, who passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025. Born June 30, 1942, to Eugene J and Ruth E. (Flannery) Coyne. Predeceased by brothers Michael and James Eugene Coyne. Survived by sisters Marilyn Bond of Vero Beach FL, and Ruth Marlowe of Allison Park Pennsylvania and brother, Jerome ( Kathy) Coyne of Allison Park PA and sister-in-law Madonna Coyne of St. Charles MO. Also, nieces, Sharon ( Doug) Kostiv, Megan Coyne and Kathleen (Katie and Donte) O'Donnell and their children, Xavier, Ava, Gavin, Davis, and Savannah.

Betty was a Guidance Counselor at Haverhill Community College in Haverhill, MA before retiring and moving back to Pittsburgh to be near family and friends.

She was also a dedicated Democrat and volunteered for several Politicians over the years.

Betty was also a devoted Catholic and donated to many charities. Helping others was her life mission.

Friends will be received at H.P Brandt Funeral Home 1032 Perry Highway Pittsburgh,PA 15237 on Thursday May 1st from 5-7PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday May 2nd at 12:30 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish 800 Avila Ct, Pittsburgh, PA 15237
