On Monday, June 18, 2012, age 97, of Ross Twp. Wife of the late Clifford D. "Kip" Stevens, Jr.; mother of Ann Spangler (Paul); proud grandmother of Seth (Sara) Spangler and Victor Maire; great-grandmother of Crystal (Rob) Gonzalez, Eli and Leah Spangler; great-great-grandmother of Robbie, Terry and Noah Gonzalez; sister of the late George Comstock (surviving wife Ruth). Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the HEARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4047 Perrysville Avenue, Observatory Hill. Private family burial Monday. Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 25, at 2 p.m. at the Reformed Presbyterian Home, 2344 Perrysville Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15214. With a firm foundation in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Betty was devoted to her family and friends. Her final years were spent in the loving care of the Reformed Presbyterian Home where memorials are suggested.
