Erin (McGonigle) Brammer

Erin McGonigle Brammer, 57, of Ross Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Loving mother of Sean Patrick and Emmalee Elizabeth Brammer; Beloved wife of the late David "Bull" Brammer; Daughter of the late Betty Jane and late Robert McGonigle; Baby cousin and youngest "sibling" of the Miller family: Beloved sister-in-law to Linda (Tom) Fish, Lori (Mike) McGoogan, and Michael Brammer. Loving "Aunt Erin" to many nieces and nephews.

Erin attended Columbus College of Art & Design and worked as a freelance children's book illustrator and graphic designer for many years. Erin loved finding and sharing new music, hunting at thrift stores, and listening to the rain during thunderstorms.

She had two green thumbs and a knack for saving plants that her daughter forgot to water. Erin was known for her Christmas lasagna and her famous macaroni salad that she brought to every family function. She was known for her eccentric taste in fashion, music, and accessories, and the way her artistic soul bled into every aspect of her life. Erin's personality was larger than life, but her heart was even larger. She will be remembered as the most empathetic, accepting, and unconditionally loving person in many people's lives.

Friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home 1032 Perry Hwy Pittsburgh PA 15237.

A celebration of life service will take place on July 13, 2024 at 11AM, in the funeral home chapel.
