She is the beloved mother of 2 sons; Edward (Carol), and Eric (Linda), and 5 daughters; Ruth (Robert) McDonald, Kay (William) Welsh, Marilyn Mertz, Paulette (Jeffrey) Leskowat, and Karen (Tom) Moore. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren.

My Grandmother, Florence Mertz, is one of the strongest, most stubborn and funny people I've ever even heard of. Her strength of character and passionate nature are qualities I hope we allow to live on proudly in each of us.

Grateful for all the time we had with her. With so much love to those who miss a mother now: my mother, Paulette, and my uncles and aunts, Ed, Ruthie, Kay, Marilyn, Karen and Eric.

We here at WEC have been richly blessed by Florence's kindnesses for many years - especially expressed through her daughter Marilyn.
Our hearts are lifted up as we think of Florence being in the presence of her loving King and Savior. We hear Him saying to her, "Well done, my good and faithful daughter."

Dear Paulette,

We remember your Mother as a lovely lady who possessed a beautiful countenance. She surely was blessed with length of years, deep and abiding faith, and a large and devoted family.

We are particularly thinking of you and Jeff and all of your children at this sad (but joyous) time.

With fond regards...

Felicia and Richard
