Born on April 10, 1937, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Frances was a graduate of Holy Ghost Academy.
Right after high school, Frances went to work for General Electric, where she devoted 47 years of service as a Secretary. Her long career reflected the dedication and reliability that defined her life.
Frances was the daughter of the late August and Eleanor Gruber. She was the sister of MaryLou Derbish (Edward), Carol Ann Poillucci (Carl), and Virginia Gruber. Along with her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her brother James Gruber and his wife Marion.
Frances enjoyed reading and working outside—simple pleasures that suited her thoughtful spirit and brought her peace.
