Frank J. Lux

Frank J. Lux, 92 of West Sunbury, formerly of Avalon, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann (Mogus) Lux; loving father of Valerie A. (Larry) Gallagher, Kevin F. (Terry) Lux, Bruce D. (Mishell) Lux and Mark S. (Lori) Lux; grandfather of Bethany, Jeremy, Shane, Jared, Emily and the late Sylvia; he is also survived by a great grandson, Emmett; a brother, Regis (Gloria) Lux and sisters, Betty Wilson and Myrna (Stewart) Perry.

Frank was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served in WWII. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a graphic artist. He was a member of the Graphic Arts International Teamsters, Local 24, the Associated Artists of Butler and was a 50 plus year member of the American Legion, Avalon.

Friends will be received Sunday from 1-4 & 6-8 pm in the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc., 1014 California Ave, Avalon, 412-766-5600. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, Emsworth on Monday at 10am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank and Mary Ann’s memory to the Sisters of St. Joseph, C/O St. Joseph Convent, 1020 W. State Street, Baden, PA 15005.
