Gerald Jerry F. Jacoby

Gerald F. Jacoby, age 88, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 30, 2017. He was born December 1, 1928 in Xenia, OH, a son of the late Marion and Mildred (Thompson) Jacoby and was the step-son of the late Wilbur Snyder. He was the beloved husband of the late Louella H. (Coy) Jacoby; loving father of Connie (Jack) Geier; grandfather of Heather Geier and Megan (Dr. William) McNamara. He is also survived by a sister, Marlene (George) Kuhlman, as well as nieces and nephews, Donna Kuhlman, David (Jennifer) Kuhlman and Phil (Judy) Kuhlman, Tom Cartwright, Patty Cartwright Gallagher, Sherry Vest Spaulding, Valerie Hinkle Fudulff. He was also preceded in death by nieces, Kelly and Tronda Hinkle.

He was a Navy veteran with a passion to hunt. Jerry enjoyed his retirement with Louella in Florida, spending quality time on the golf course. He was a member of the Shriners and the Haines City VFW, where he was a member of their Veteran’s Funeral Honor Guard providing military honors for his fallen comrades.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being personalized by the HP Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., 1032 Perry Hwy, Ross Twp., 412-364-4444.
