on June 26, 1926, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late John and Mildred (Weffing) Roeger; Louise
graduated from Belleview High School in Pittsburgh and then received her bachelor's degree from
Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Louise worked for Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh as a Manager in the
Trust Department and later as the Vice President for over 40 years before retiring, She was a member of
the Deaf Ministry at Grace United Methodist Church, She was an active member at North Minister
Presbyterian Church in Belleview, PA, where she sang for the choir and was also rang bells in the bell
choir. Louise was a world traveler, where she enjoyed visiting China, Israel, South America, Africa,
Australia, and Europe. She enjoyed playing the piano and cello, spending time with her family but most
of all enjoyed life. She is survived by her three nephews, Carl (Cindy) Roeger, of Coshocton, whom she
resided with the past 18 months, David (Deborah) Roeger of Mohegan Lake, NY, and James (Janice
Hogrefe) Roeger of Columbus; four great-nephews, Kyle Roeger of Brooklyn, NY, Johnathan (Gretchen)
Roeger of Delaware, OH, Michael (Hilary) Roeger of Cridersville, OH, and Matthew Roeger of Brooklyn,
NY; and best friend, Sue Grove of Pittsburgh, PA. Along with her parents, Louise was preceded in death by
her brother, Richard E. Roeger.
Friends received Friday, December 16th at 1:00pm for a Memorial Service at Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc.,
1014 California Ave., Avalon 412-766-5600. Interment will be private.
