Jamie never met a stranger. You could see the compassion in his beautiful brown eyes. He truly knew the meaning of “unconditional love”, and anyone who knew him knew that they could trust him with their lives. He was the most loyal, honest, kindhearted person that most people ever had the honor of knowing, and despite his struggles, one of the few things that Jamie found happiness and inner peace in was helping others. If only he could have loved himself as much as we loved him.
The greatest lesson that Jamie leaves us is to make an effort to be kind and gentle with everyone we meet in our day. We do not know the struggles that others are dealing with or how fragile their hearts are.
Jamie is survived by his mother, Debra; his father, Joseph; his younger brother, Matthew; his husband, Jason; and his two dogs, Diesel and Anna, whom he dearly loved as his own children. Friends and Family will be received Friday December 8, 2017 from 4-8pm in the HP Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., 1032 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp. (412-364-4444). All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Hugh Lane and Dr. Stacy Lane Foundation at 127 Anderson Street, Suite 101 Timber Court, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
