Jane M. Sullivan

Jane M. Sullivan, 93, of Ingomar, formerly of Avalon, surrounded by her family, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, May 18, 2014. Beloved mother of James M. (Judi) Sullivan and Scott R. Menold; sister of Jack Menold, Riverside, CA and Anne Kenney, Charlotte, NC; loving aunt of Lynn, Sharon, Beth Ann and Wes. Preceded in death by her parents Eleanor B. and John L. Menold. Jane received her BA at the College of Wooster and her MA at the University of West Virginia. She was a speech pathologist and audiologist for the North Allegheny School District, specializing in work with autistic and mentally challenged children for 20 years. A devoted mother and Steelers fan, she enjoyed gardening and maintained an impeccable yard and garden until her death. The family would like to send special thanks to Mike and Cindy Donahue, Craig and Jeanne Rowland, Jack Neff and the Bradford Woods Meals on Wheels for their care and friendship through the years.
