Janice R. Francis

Janice Rose (Geary) Francis, 98, of McCandless Township, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. She was born on August 20, 1926, in Point Marion, PA to the late George and Lillian (McCahon) Geary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Francis.

Janice was a member of Saint Sabastian Catholic Church, she enjoyed sewing, cheering on her favorite Pittsburgh sport teams, Steelers, Pirates, and the Penguins.

She will be remembered as a Loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Janice is survived by her three children; Robert “Bob” (Christine) Francis, Rosanne (Terrance) McNulty, Patricia (Lewis) Graves; her grandchildren, Heather, Bobby, Bonnie, Andrew, Kevin, Matthew, Phil, Em; two great-grandchildren, Jacob, Opal, and her sister, Loretta Yancoskie.

In addition to her husband, Robert, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Lawrence, Huebert, Bob, Billie, David and Eleanor.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 10:00 AM till the time of service at 1:00 PM at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home 1032 Perry Hwy. Pittsburgh, PA 15237.

Janice will be laid to rest at Allegheny County Memorial Park.
