Cherished and beloved Aunt of Heather Esswein (Rich), Art White (Michelle) and Jennifer Schomaker. Great Aunt to Katie and Kraig Esswein, Elaina, Bridgette, Arthur, and Thomas White, and Jaxson Schomaker. Many wonderful nieces and nephews from her husband’s family.

Aunt Jan (as she was known by all) was deeply funny, fiercely loyal, staunch in her dedication to her family and friends and truly a gifted cook. We will miss her mashed potatoes and her pumpkin muffins, her bark of laughter and her enveloping hugs. She loved dogs, and Diet Coke, Days of Our Lives and Willie Nelson. She loved Uncle Bob. She loved us. Aunt Jan has left us with so many happy memories. We would love if you shared a story or memory of Aunt Jan, too.
