Jeanine S. Carlisle

Jeanine Sophia Carlisle, 82, of Ingomar died Tuesday, September 20, 2016. She was the sister-in-law of Gale G. Kenney formerly of Ingomar and beloved aunt of Dr. John Kenney (Caroline) of Beaufort, South Carolina, Dr. David Kenney of Greensburg, Robert Kingerski (Sharon) of Baden and Mary Dru Simeone (Tony) of Avonworth Heights. Jeanine was the cherished great-aunt of Dr. Christopher (Lindsay), Lt. Col. Jonathon, Matthew, Jack, Brandon, and Susan Kenney; Sean Mitchell, Rob, Nick and Jessica Kingerski and namesake, Katie Jeanine Imler, Esq. Proceeded in death by her siblings: Gloria Kenney, Joseph Carlisle, Robert Carlisle, and Mary Louise Winner.

Jeanine retired from Port Authority Transit as its longest employee. Her life long friends and “card club” enjoyed comradery for over 60 years. Known for her kindness, generosity and good nature she became a treasure to everyone she met. Jeanine will long be remembered for her holiday prayers, inspirational readings and the special way that she could tell a story. She was a member of Riverview Presbyterian Church and Pittsburgh Chapter, DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution.)

Visitation from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Friday at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc.,1032 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh PA 15237 (412-364-4444). Funeral service at 10am, on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the funeral home. Arrangements by Heard Funeral Home, Inc.
