Jocelyn Hough, 75, of Franklin Park, was an active, compassionate woman who thoroughly enjoyed life in the four seasons of Western Pennsylvania.
She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church for 50 years and cherished singing in the choir and serving on the altar guild. She was also a volunteer reader for the blind at Northland Public Library.
She is survived by her husband Thomas H.M. Hough, daughter Jocelyn Hough of Squirrel Hill, son Thomas H.M. Hough II and his wife Cory of San Diego, CA, sisters Polly Reath of Blue Bell, PA and Janice Rockett of Cary, NC, and many nieces and nephews.
Jocelyn grew up in Philadelphia, graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle and moved to Pittsburgh with husband Tom in 1959. She remained an ardent fan of Pittsburgh sports teams throughout her life.
A mass will be offered at Christ Episcopal Church in Ross Township at 11:00 am on September 27, 2010. A luncheon will follow. Those attending are encouraged to joyfully reminisce about a lovely woman who met everyone with a smile.
