Age 87, of Millvale, passed away October 21, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Margaret M. (O'Toole) Duffy; loving father of Cathy Duffy Anderson (Daniel Smith), Jackie Mizuk (Karl); grandfather of Brian Anderson and Grayson Mizuk; brother of Mary Duffy Armstrong and Kay Duffy Oswald; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and two step-grandsons, Adam and Ryan Smith. Mr. Duffy served in the Navy during World War II aboard the USS Lexington, where he received the Pacific Theater Ribbon (Five Stars), American Theater Ribbon, the Victor Medal and the Philippine Libertarian Ribbon (Two Stars). Friends will be received at the HEALY-HAHN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 512 Grant Ave., Millvale, 412-821-2940 on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. Holy Spirit Parish. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Holy Spirit Parish, 608 Farragot St., Millvale, PA 15209.
