Age 82, of Ross Twp., passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2014. He was the son of the late Russell H. and Cora (Newman) Lawley; beloved husband for 54 years of Rose Marie (Kindl) Lawley; father of Linda (Mike) Kolesar and Wayne Lawley; grandfather of Aziza Kolesar; brother of the late Henry, Russell, Lynn, Dan, Sarah, and Margaret; he leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. John worked in the engineering field for 45 years as a hydraulic designer in steel mills. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a 50 year member of the Free & Accepted Masons. Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the HP BRANDT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1032 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp., 412-364-4444, where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
