My deepest sympathies to you and your family during this difficult time. When I heard of John's passing, I was initially saddened but, then, immediately remembered that it was 11/1, the Feast of All Saints. I pray that John will be quickly received into the Kingdom of Heaven, where he can join with all the Saints and angels, free from all pain and suffering , living forever with our Lord. May God bless you, your family, and John.

To Olson Family...we were saddened to read about Johnnys' passing. We will always see him running around James St and Woodlawn Ave with his "superman" cape on. It was a great time for the neighborhood back then. God bless all of you, Chuckie, Tim, Jeannie, Tommy.

John Olson was one of the most genuinely all around good people to ever walk the Earth. We got reconnected at our 20th HS reunion to at least stay in touch via texts, emails and Christmas cards but were very close back in our elementary and high school days. I lit a candle for him at Church this past Sunday for All Saint's day. He was the closest to a saint of any of us from our school crew. My heart aches for Tammy and Jarod. But especially for John because I know he didn't want to leave his family. But I know this. The Lord welcomed him to heaven and said, "Well done, good and faithful servant. Welcome to Paradise" The world has lost a beautiful soul. RIP my friend.

To the Family of John, I am so sorry for your loss; I wish to extend to you my condolences.
As former Lucent employee, I knew John but never worked with him or for him when he made management.
He was a great guy.

This picture is from our wedding in 1999. I've know Tammy since kindergarten. She found a good man when she found John. So nice and kind with a beautiful smile. He will be truly missed.

John was such a funny friend, not to mention very kind! When our group hung out in high school, there was never a time John didn’t make everyone laugh! We used to refer to him as “Johnnie O”. I was also on that trip to ocean city and we all had such a great time!

In 1989 after we graduated from high school, 10 of us went on a vacation to Ocean City. 9 girls and John. That vacation was one of the best times of my life. Walking the boardwalk with John calling me "mom" making the passerbys give me a funny look is forever etched in my heart. He could always make me laugh. I am so thankful he was my friend.
