Joseph M. Bucek Jr.

Joseph M. Bucek, Jr., age 77, of Neshannock Twp., formerly of Gibsonia, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015. He was the loving husband of Lois F. (Zoglmann) Bucek; beloved father of Joseph M. (Sarah N.) Bucek III, Juliann M. Marchetto, Anthony Z. (Jeanine D.) Bucek and Donna F. (Kevin M.) Mulholland; grandfather of Joseph M. Bucek, IV, Michael A. Bucek, Rebecca E. Bucek, Heather F. Marchetto, Barry E. Marchetto, Ian A. Marchetto, Katherine F. Mulholland and Brody D. Mulholland; also survived by a brother, William (Eileen) Bucek, a sister, Dolores Shipman and three step-sisters.

Prior to his retirement, Joseph was employed as a truck driver with the Teamsters. He was a member of St. Victor Church and then St. Richard’s Church. One of his biggest joys came from attending and supporting his grandchildren through all of their sporting events and activities. He had a great love for the outdoors and could often be found hunting, fishing or gardening. He also enjoyed leather tooling, training his dogs, riding his motorcycle, watching football, tying flies and all things history. He was a member of both the Allegheny Co. Sportsmen’s League and the Bakerstown Beagle Club, where he served on their Boards of Directors.

Friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8pm in the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., 1032 Perry Hwy, Ross Twp., 412-364-4444. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11am in St. Richards Church. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
