Kenneth Michael O'Neill

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth ‘Kenny’ Michael O’Neill, age 44 of Ross Township. Kenny passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at his home. He was preceded in death by his devoted grandmother, Joan Elizabeth O’Neill and grandfather Kenneth R. O’Neill, Uncle Dennis C. O’Neill, Aunt Eileen M. O’Neill, and Kathleen M. O’Neill as well as his favorite person, his uncle Timothy P. O’Neill. Kenny is survived by Patrick K. O’Neill (Leanne) of Alabama, Noreen A. O’Neill of Wexford, Timothy G. O’Neill (Lynn) of Ambridge, Sean P. O’Neill (Jennifer), Matthew J. O’Neill (Sarah) and his longtime girlfriend Tara Kelly as well as numerous cousins.

Kenny was a proud graduate of North Allegheny School District. For most of his adult life he worked at Giant Eagle where he was a dedicated employee. Kenny was known for his thoughtful engagement with the world as an internet blogger. He wrote about a variety of topics including politics and wrestling.

Ken was never in a bad mood, always so happy go lucky. He had a deep joy for life even with his disability. His heart was full of love and kindness for family and friends. Ken spent his life surrounded by those he loved and cherished.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Eye & Ear Institute or Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Visitation for Ken will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 3-8 PM at H.P Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Hwy Pittsburgh PA 15237. A Blessing Service will take place immediately following the visitation.
