Kristy Lee Baldinger

July 3, 1986March 15, 2018

Kristy Lee Baldinger, age 31 of Shaler, passed into God’s care on Thursday, March 15, 2018. She was the cherished daughter of Donna M. and the late David J. Baldinger and the loving granddaughter of Norma M. and the late Harry Lang. Kristy, given all her special needs, remained a good natured, loving spirit who always was pleasant regardless of her illness. She was a gift to all who knew her, greatly loved by her private duty nurses and the nursing staff of the Micu unit of Presbyterian Hospital. She attended the Western Pennsylvania School for the Blind for over twenty years. God now has a special angel in his care. Family and friends are welcome to come and share Kristy’s life on Sunday from 6pm until time of service at 7pm in the Healy-Hahn Funeral Home, Inc., 512 Grant Ave., Millvale (412-821-2940). Donna, your Kristy was such a special young woman. She had such a gentleness of spirit but also such strength, to keep living a life that certainly had its challenges. You yourself were absolutely one of her blessings, as I know she was also one of yours. I am so fortunate to have known her.

If I do not make it to today's visitation to express my sympathies in person, know that she and you are in my thoughts and prayers, and in the thoughts of all those at our School who knew and loved her.

I helped care for this beautiful girl with a smile that would melt your heart. In my heart she was like one of my own, my third daughter. No matter how bad my day may have been, when I was with Kristy, I was in her world. A world of peace, joy and happiness. We shared many joyful memories and I will cherish them forever.
May God bless her family and give them peace.

I am terribly sorry for your loss, and I am sorry that I am not able to come to Kristy's viewing tomorrow evening. She will always have a special place in my thoughts. I will never forget doing home visits for Kristy, because it was safer than having her transported to our office. I will keep you in my thoughts & prayers

I feel grateful and blessed to have been one of Kristy's private duty nurses. I't is hard not to love and laugh when you meet Kristy and Donna. It was a pleasure to have been a part of their lives. God Bless you Donna. I remember how cheerful she was when we put up the rose curtains in her room. She is missed.

I was one of the nurses that cared for Kristy in the MICU. I am going to miss her sweet face. She was a big part of the MICU family and we will miss her greatly. Kristy 's family is in my thoughts and prayers.
