

Louis proudly served in the United States Navy and later dedicated his career to his craft as a skilled carpenter and proud member of Carpenters' Union 1160. He was a hardworking man who took pride in what he did and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Louis had a fun and outgoing personality and a gentle, kind-hearted spirit that drew people to him. He loved to travel, experience new places, and, most of all, spend time with his family and friends. He was also an exceptional cook who took great pleasure in preparing meals for family and friends and bringing people together around the table.
Louis was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marion Conti. He is survived by his son, Brian Conti; son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Nadia Conti; and his cherished grandson, Luciano Conti. He is also survived by his sister, Marylou Cline, and his companion, Margaret Miller, along with extended family and friends.
Louis will be remembered for his strength, generosity, sense of humor, and love of life. Some of the best memories of him will be found in the simple things: family gatherings, great food, traveling, laughter, and time spent together.
He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Visitation will be held at H P Brandt Funeral Home, Inc, 1032 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh, PA 15237, on August 21, 2026, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a Blessing Service at 1:00 pm at the same location.
