Louis Thomas Mazur

Louis was born in Natrona, son of the late Charles and Anna (Arvay) Mazur. He was a graduate of St Joseph High School in Natrona Heights and St Vincent College in Latrobe. An Army veteran, Louis spend most of his working career as a Computer Audit Specialist with the Internal Revenue Service.

He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh sports teams and enjoyed playing golf in his spare time. Louis had a strong devotion to his family and spent many years as caregiver for his wife Margaret. He took great pride in the successes of his children and grandchildren and was always interested to hear news of their activities. Louis was a long-time member of Sacred Heart Church in Emsworth and more recently, St John Neumann in Franklin Park.

Louis is survived by his children Edward (Delilah) of Greensburg, Michelle of Plum, and Philip (Amanda) of Birmingham, Alabama, and sister Marcia Manga of York, PA. grandchildren Elena, Jolene and Leah of Greensburg. Dagny, Harriet Louise and Bristal of Birmingham, Alabama as well as dozens of nieces and nephews. Louis was preceded in death by his wife Margaret and brothers Charles and Daniel.

Visitation for Louis will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at H.P Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Highway from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12 PM on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at St. John Neumann Church in Franklin Park.
