Mariam Louise Pegher

Mariam Pegher (nee Brooker), age 94, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Regis A. Pegher of Wexford, PA. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Lillian (William) Morse and Beverly (Don) Study and brothers Robert (Jeanne) and William Brooker.

Mariam was a homemaker for most of her married life and enjoyed playing games and cards with her family and spending time with them and her husband at their camp in Tionesta. In her later years she was an avid game show watcher.

Mariam had no children of her own; but loved and mothered her many nieces and nephews. After the death of her husband, she stayed in the Wexford, PA area for several years with Anthony and Margaret Pegher. Later she moved to Parma Hts, OH, to live with her sister, Lillian Morse. The two of them were very close and lived together until shortly before Lillian’s death in 2018.

Private burial arrangements were handled by H. P. Brandt Funeral Home 1018 Perry Hwy Pittsburgh PA 15237. She will be laid to rest with her husband, Regis in Allegheny County Memorial Cemetery.
