Martha E. Pivarnik

Martha E. Pivarnik, of Plum, formerly of Allison Park, passed away on November 18, 2025. Martha was born in Groveton, PA on January 29, 1932 to the late Paul and Mary (Palsa) Egley. In her younger years Martha worked for Heinz, where she met her late husband, George J. Pivarnik.

Martha loved gardening, cooking, hosting get togethers, playing cards and chinese checkers, but above all she was devoted Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma. She also adored her grandcat Berlioz. She attended La Roche College later in life and received her Bachelor's in sociology. It was one of her many accomplishments!

Martha is survived by her daughter Trese (the late John) Debelak, her granddaughters Marissa (Doug) Ehnen, Leann (Brian) Vasquez, and Alana (Zack) Roney, her great-grandchildren Max, Z.J., Frankie, and Juliet, and her sister Mary (Ron) Kuhn. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brother Sonny and sister Barbara Jean.

Visitation for Martha will be held on Friday from 2-5 PM at H.P Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Highway Pittsburgh PA 15237.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday at 12 PM at St. Ursula Catholic Church, Allison Park. Interment to take place at Mt. Royal Cemetery.
