Mary L. Krul

October 21, 1934June 22, 2020

Mary L. (Wolcyrz) Krul, age 85, of Ross Twp., died on Monday, June 22, 2020 at UPMC Passavant. Born October 21, 1934, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Elizabeth (Ratajewski) Wolcyrz.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Krul (1988), two sisters and one brother.

She is survived by one daughter and son in law; Barbara Fair and husband Mike; and two sons; Karl Krul, and Russell Krul. She is also survived by two grandchildren; Misha and Cassandra Krul; one sister; Wanda Daniels, as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Mary had a deep love for animals and family, sometimes in that order, and for those she considered family. She was selfless and would do anything to make others lives easier. Mom did not want a lot of fuss after she died, in her words, "You have thoughts and memories of me that will stay with you forever. A bucket of ashes don't mean a thing."

In honor of Mary's life, donations can be made to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.

Barb, Karl and Russ,
I don’t need to tell you how sorry I am . . . you already know. Your mom and I were “bestest” friends, and I can’t even imagine my life without her. We’ve shared some very special times, and I will never forget her or her wonderful hugs. We’ve been through a lot together over the last 24 years . . . very good times, very bad times and everything in between. She will always be in my heart and I will love her forever. Thank you for sharing her with me.

I have lost my best friend. We worked together for 10 years.we were friends for 40 years. She was considered a Lintelman in this household. She was always a shining light, always smiling and eager to help.I have never had a harder or better hug in my life.We have had many, many dinners together which we always looked forward to and always had a good time.I can't believe she has died, what a wonderful angel in heaven. Our family will miss her so much.We all loved her and will miss her dearly. My deepest sympathies go out to Barbara, Karl and Russell. We lost a part of our family with your Mom's passing. She brought so much joy into our lives and will never ever be forgotten, she was truly loved by every member of the Lintelman family, including our pets! Our hearts are broken but Heaven has received another Angle. We are blessed to have had her in our lives. It won't be the same without (our) Mary. And yes, she did give the best hugs! Sincerely, Marc.

Mrs. Krul was always so kind and gentle when I visited. She was so easy to talk to and be around. I followed her life and trials through Barb and feel broken hearted for her and her family. My condolences.

Barb, Karl, Russ, Misha & Cassandra,
I am very sorry for your loss. "Ma" was one of a kind and I will really miss her. She would always light up the party and was such a joy to be around. She was kind, generous and such a great hugger. I will always remember her hugs along with her beautiful smile and great sense of humor. She was a treasure.
Love to all,
Darlene (Aunt Sis)
