Mary L Martin

Mary Martin was born in New Athens, Ohio, on November 25, 1930, and passed away July 5, 2016. She graduated from West Liberty College and the University of Pittsburgh Nursing School. After her husband Mario passed away when she was 48, she went back to work to support her family, working at Elsie Miller Nursing, Pine View Manor Nursing Home and the Veterans Administration in Aspinwall. She enjoyed spending time with and helping to raise her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening and crocheting. Her family includes three sons: David and his wife Martha of Harmony, PA; Bill and his wife Lynn of Cranberry Township, PA and Jim and his wife Sally of McCandless Township, PA. She also had three grandchildren: Jonathan, Jessica and Mario; two step grandchildren: Roxanne and Heather; and two step great grandchildren: Ryan and Emily. The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 9th at 10:30 am at Orchard Hill Church, 2551 Brandt School Rd., Wexford, PA 15090. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
