Mary Louise "Sue" Miller

86, of Pompano Beach, Fl, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 15, 2016 after a sudden illness. Sue was born in and lived in Pittsburgh, PA for 41 years, made her home in South Florida for the past 37 years. She moved to Florida after 8 years in Farmington, MI, with her husband, Herb, who predeceased her on March 16, 1998. Sue was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a faithful member of New Presbyterian Church in Wilton Manors, FL. Sue lived her faith with an altruistic heart, helping others and volunteering her time and talents. She is survived by her three children and spouses, David E. and Kathleen Miller of Plymouth, MI, Marcia S. & Rodney McGillis of Ashley, MI and Linda A. and Christopher Rudolph of Marietta, GA. Nine grandchildren, Leslie Miller, Lindsay Miller Smith, Andrew Miller, Elizabeth Miller, Caroline Miller, Scott McGillis, Sara McGillis, Kevin McGillis and Kristen Rudolph. Five great grandchildren. A service in celebration of Sue's life followed by a reception will be held at 10am Saturday, June 18, 2016 at John Knox Village, 200 Lakeside Circle, Pompano Beach, FL 33060 (954)783-4000 with Dr. James R. Carter officiating. Interment will be at Allegheny County Memorial Park, Pittsburgh, PA at a later date.
