Randy had a happy, cheerful, and easy-going personality. In his younger years, he served with pride and dedication for 20 years as a certified pharmacy technician at the Veterans Hospital, providing care and comfort to those who served our country. He was also highly skilled and specialized in carpentry, a craft he approached with great talent.
He was a man of many unique passions who truly loved the great outdoors in every season. He was an avid camper and a remarkably skilled fisherman who won several prestigious Angler Awards for his trophy catches, and he especially looked forward to the peace of ice fishing. His greatest passion, however, was off-road Can-Am and ATV riding. He could usually be found out on the trails, especially exploring Mines and Meadows.
Back at home, Randy was an incredibly devoted son who looked out for his mother by taking care of everything she needed, from cutting down trees and painting to handling all other repairs. More than anything else in the world, his deepest desire was the comfort of his family, beautifully captured by his favorite, frequent saying to his mother: " I just want to make you happy."
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife and best friend, Tracy Lynn Fritz (Tschannan).
He is survived by his loving mother, Noreen "Bunny" Fritz; his brother, Frank D. Fritz; his uncle, Lawrence (Diane) Galla; and his loving little dog, Colbee Romeo Von Fritz. He is also survived by many extended family members, friends, and colleagues who cherished him dearly.
