Richard L Hassinger

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Earl and Mildred Hassinger. Loving father of Sharon (Greg) Lewandowski and Todd Hassinger. Grandfather of Kyle Lewandowski, Bradon Hassinger and Kiley Hassinger. Brother of the late Robert Hassinger and Florence Stineman.

Richard (Dick) was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a Pharmacist for 42 years and served as a preceptor for the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Pharmacy. He was an avid golfer and spent much of his spare time watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins and Pirates. Richard was known for his easygoing demeanor and everyone he met enjoyed his company. He was an active member of the Greenstone Methodist Church in Avalon, PA.

Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home 1032 Perry Hwy Pittsburgh PA on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 10:30 AM until service at 12PM.
