Richard R. Vorndran Jr.

Richard "Rich" R. Vorndran, 70, of Ross Township, died on August 16, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Gerry; and three children, Richard (Rhonda) Vorndran of Pine Township, Christine (Robert) Crytzer of Robinson, and Kenneth (Michelle) Vorndran of Morgantown, WV; his six grandchildren, Justin, Cayla, Jessica, Kirsten, Hannah and Lindsey, were the love of his life. He was an avid fisherman his entire life, he retired from L-3 Brashear - Integrated Optical Systems. A dog lover, he was especially fond of beagles. Friends will be received from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, August 19 in the H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 1032 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp. (412-364-4444). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, August 20 at St. Teresa of Avila, 1000 Avila Court in Perrysville. Interment will follow at Most Holy Name Cemetery in Reserve.
