Robert Emmet Connolly III, loving son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on January 2, 2024, at age 46. He is an alumnus of North Catholic High School and Penn State University. After a successful career as a Technical Writer in Washington D.C., he returned home to Pittsburgh to be closer to friends, family and his beloved Steelers. His passion for music and his unique ability to entertain with many a tale will be deeply missed by all who knew Emmet.
Son of the late Robert Emmet Connolly Jr. and the late Margaret Jean Connolly. Loving brother of Marianne Miller, Maureen Connolly, Kathleen (Robert) Steele, Sharon (Nicholas) Navari, Carolyn (Jay) Standish; and uncle to Patrick, Shannon, Michael, Tara, Nicholas, Brooke, and Chelsea. Also survived by longtime friends David I., John, P. and David C.
Friends and Family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Teresa of Avila Church-Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish on Tuesday January 9, 2024, at 12:30 PM. Burial to follow at Christ our Redeemer Cemetery.
