Roberta Mae Bates, 61, of the North Boros, on Friday, September 9, 2011. Beloved daughter of the late Robert T. and Elizabeth A. Bates. Loving sister of Laverne M. Young, Lynette M. Baca and Jeffery A. Bates; aunt of William and Rebecca Young. Roberta worked at the University of Pittsburgh registrar’s office for 42 years.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at 2pm Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the Greenstone United Methodist Church 939 California Ave., Avalon with a memorial service at 3pm.
