I will NEVER forget the first day i met Robin. At first she seemed so fragile and dwarfed by her condition and the overstuffed chair she sat in. As a nurse I wondered how she had lived this long. Then I got to know 3 of the “Ellery Ladies “. I then realized what a lovingly dedicated trio they were. I continued to be amazed until I was shown that they were a gift from God. Ileana, Elaine, and Robin were examples of Grace in all circumstances. I TRULY believe Robin was an angel living among us. Her love of life and humanity, her trust and strength, her peace and calm are examples for all of us. I then met Martha and was amazed again at the 4th “Ellery Lady”. It was a great privilege, honour, and delight to care for Robin. I hope I am a better person for knowing Robin. I know the world is a lesser place without her. Please take peace in the fact that “ to be absent from the body is to be present with The Lord”. Accept my most humble sympathy and love

Robin was a part of so many of my childhood memories. Ileana was my babysitter from when I was 5 until I started 7th grade. I was always so excited when Robin came with her or we could go visit her at her job. We enjoyed so many good times....sleepovers, Cedar Point trips, Oglebay trips, our collection of Robin Wood dolls and going to signings, and so many more. I think I took a liking to alligators because Robin loved them so much. Robin will be missed very much but my hope is that she is now in peace. Sending hugs to all of the family!

Robin was a very important part of our lives for over 20 years, watching our daughter Morgan from infancy until she started school. She was an amazing, loving, thoughtful and incredibly good person just like her family. We continued to enjoy sharing many milestones together through the years and despite her health issues, smiled and always worried about others. I know her love and compassion helped our family always see the bright side.

Robin was the most, caring, giving and loving person we could have ever have hoped for to watch our young toddler daughter, Morgan in 1988, I just can’t express the her extreme love, compassion and life lessons she shared every day despite her personal challenges. I give Robin as much or more credit in raising the amazing adult who now has 2 little people that she is sharing what she learned from Robin ! She will always live on in our hearts.
