Rose Ann Bakaj, age 76 of West View passed away peacefully on the morning of September 5, 2025 at UPMC Passavant Hospital. Rose was born on June 4, 1949 to the late Phillip and Elva Badami. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Adam Bakaj.
Rose was known for her friendly and compassionate spirit. She was a fan of horses, wine tasting, ice cream and margaritas. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons Shawn and Steven Bakaj, siblings Robert (Debbie), James (Midge) and Michael Badami, Irene (Tim) Cooney, sister-in-law Helen Badami and several nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Phillip Badami.
A gathering for Rose will be held on Thursday September 11, 2025 from 4-6 at H.P Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh PA 15237. A Memorial Service will take place immediately following the visitation.
