Ted was married to the late Marlene (Dietz) Krupa. She preceded him in death in 2013. They were married for 58 years. He worked for 25 years at Crucible Steel until their closing.
Ted was an avid Pirates fan who had tried out for the team after his time in the service. He enjoyed playing softball well into his 70's and grew and sold Christmas trees as a hobby.
He is survived by his children Diane Sanders, Gary Krupa and Gregg (Lynn) Krupa and granddaughter Desirae Sanders.
A visitation will be held for Ted on Wednesday from 12 - 2 PM at H.P Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Highway Pittsburgh PA 15237.
