He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janet (Radi) Spiker; daughters, Marcy Gates (Donald) and Jill Spiker; granddaughters, Amanda, Megan, and Peyton Gates; sisters, Pat Briston, Sandra Franciscus, Nancy Pozzuto, and Carol Wisniewski. Preceded in death by his brothers, Frank Spiker and Andrew Spiker; and sisters, Barb Burckure and Kathy Lennon.
A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society or St. Jude’s Hospital for Children.
