Thomas Pastor, 103, of Aleppo, formerly of Ben Avon and New Port Richey, Florida, on March 3, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Joan (Smith) Pastor and father of Judy Pastor, of Dallas, Texas, Lynne Pastor and grandson, Max, of Squirrel Hill, Joan Harley, of Wayne, Pennsylvania, and Tom Pastore, of Sewickley. He also leaves his cat, Tigger, now living in Squirrel Hill. Tom was born in Pittsburgh and grew up in Coraopolis. He retired as Vice President of the Pittsburgh Nipple Works. A long-time member of Fremont Avenue United Presbyterian Church in Bellevue, he served many terms as elder and trustee. Tom had many interests, including coin and stamp collecting, oil painting, and Steelers and Pitt football. He taught himself to play the organ in his retirement. Tom’s 100th birthday party was a feature on a local Pittsburgh news station. His friendly and kind ways will be missed by his family and those who knew him.
