Wallace "Walt" Lansberry

Wallace “Walt” William Lansberry, born January 7, 1929, at the age of eighty-eight passed away on July 7, 2017. Beloved husband of Dorothy May (Aippersbach) Lansberry for 66 years; loving and devoted father of Wallace (Kathy) Lansberry, Cheryl Lansberry Krause, Mark Lansberry, Dean (Karen) Lansberry and Richard (Linda) Lansberry; treasured and cherished “Pap” of eleven grandchildren: Stacey Bennett, Kristi (Steve) Franklin, Carolyn Bennett, Mark (Pam) Lansberry, Dean (Allie) Lansberry, Lauren (Greg) Barger, Jonathan (Allison) Krause, Shaunna Lansberry, Alayne Lansberry, Megan (Darren) Bremmer, Adam Lansberry and a great-grand “Pap” to four great-grandchildren. Born and raised in Pittsburgh and a Veteran of the US Army. Walt was a manager at WT Grant Company for many years and a retiree from the US Postal Service out of Wexford, PA. But perhaps his greatest accomplishments and contributions to this world was being a supportive, loving and caring husband, father and pap. Family and Friends will be received Sunday, July 9, 2017 and Monday, July 10, 2017, 2pm-4pm & 6pm-8pm at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh, PA 15237 (412) 364-4444, where services will be held Tuesday at 11am. Entombment will follow at Christ the Redeemer Mausoleum.
