Walter Bird

Walter Bird age 78 of Ross Twp. Born on January 2, 1943 to the late Robert and Alice (Orton) Bird peacefully passed away on Tuesday June 22, 2021. He was the beloved husband to late Virginia (Solack) Bird and the loving father of Patti Bird (Paul) and John Bird (Jaime). He was the proud grandfather of Zachary Bird. He will be missed by his sister Judy (late Dave) Smith and brother David (Paulie) Bird.

He was the Grand "Paw" to Butters and Gus.

After 37 years, he retired as a truck driver for Pepsi Cola. Walter was a member of the Teamsters Union, a member of the Millville Sportsman's Club and a member of the United States Coast Guard, serving our country honorably during Vietnam.

Marburger Ice Tea and chocolate milk were 2 of his guilty pleasures.

As per Walters wishes inurnment will be private at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. He will be laid to rest with the love of his life Virginia who passed away on May 10, 2016.
