Wayne C. Peters

Wayne Charles Peters, age 82, passed away unexpectedly on April 25, 2023, at his residence. Wayne was born on October 10, 1940 in Pittsburgh PA to the late Jerry and Bertha (Gurtner) Peters. Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Dolores Peters, of 49 beautiful years, his brother Dale (Mary) Peters, nieces Lisa (Rich) Aucoin, Diane (Craig) Barton, and nephew Dale Jr (Erin) Peters.

Wayne grew up in Ross Township and relocated with his wife to Economy Borough for 38 years before moving to their current residence in Mars, PA. Wayne was a retired US Marine Corps Veteran who served his country honorably. He had a strong passion for his career as a truck driver for ARCO and BP gasoline and retired after 42 years.

Wayne was a beautiful person inside and out. His family and friends considered him "Mr. Fix it," the neighborhood dog walker and mailman. He was loved by everyone that knew him; he will be forever missed. Until we meet again. “Semper Fidelis”

Wayne will be laid to rest with full military honors at the Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
