William Mooney

William Y. Mooney, age 85, of McCandless Twp., passed away peacefully on Thursday March 29, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. Loving husband of 54years to Eleanor R. (Bevins) Mooney; loving father to William E. (Carrie); loving grandfather to Hayden, Madison, Samantha, Amanda, Garrett, Warren; brother of Marian Mooney. Preceded in death by parents William F. and Norma (Yoedt) Mooney; baby daughter Eleanor Mooney; brother Robert Mooney, and sister Harriet McKinney. William was owner/operator of North Hills Disposal, Inc. and B & M Service. Member of Franklin Park Baptist Church. He enjoyed going to auctions, and spending time with his family. Friends will be received in the H. P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., 1032 Perry Hwy. Ross Twp., (412-364-4444) Monday April 2, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8pm, where services will be held Tuesday at 10am.
