Andrew Charles Dean Crabb
September 13, 1989 ~ October 29, 2024
Thank you all for being here today to celebrate the life of Andrew Crabb. Though we come
together in sadness, we also come together in gratitude for having known Andrew and for the
way he touched our lives.
Andrew was born on September 13, 1989, in Placerville, California, to Mark and Gina Crabb.
Raised in Pollock Pines, Andrew grew up surrounded by the beauty of the Sierra foothills and
mountains, developing a love for adventure and the outdoors. Whether he was racing dirt bikes,
rock crawling with his buddies, or hiking through the wilderness, Andrew’s heart was always
drawn to nature. Although quiet and calm, He wasn’t one to sit still for long; he thrived on the
thrill of the outdoors and the company of those he cared about.
In his younger years, Andrew was involved in Scouts, where he learned valuable life skills, but
more importantly, he gained an appreciation for the world around him and the importance of
hard work, responsibility, and community.
As he grew older, Andrew applied that same dedication and energy to his career. Starting out in
fabrication, he eventually became an ironworker. Andrew was known for his work
ethic—whether he was on the job site or with his family, he was always committed, always
giving his best. Those who worked alongside him knew he was someone you could rely on,
someone who took pride in his work and always did things the right way.
But more than his accomplishments, it was Andrew’s deep love for his family that defined him.
He was happiest when he was with his family. Andrew’s face would light up when he was
spending time with his children, Riley, Jewel, and Odin, and anyone who saw him with them
knew how much he cherished those moments. Andrew was at his best when he was with his
family. His love for his children was unconditional and unwavering.
Andrew leaves behind his wife Ashley Crabb; three children Riley, Jewel, and Odin; his parents,
Mark and Gina Crabb; and his sibling Shandra Pinkston, Austin Crabb, and Hanna Crabb. He
shared a special bond with each of them, and his family was always at the center of his heart.
He was deeply devoted to those he loved, and they were everything to him.
Though Andrew’s life was tragically cut short when he passed on October 29, 2024, his legacy
lives on in his children, his family, and the many friends whose lives he touched. Andrew was a
man who lived fully, loved deeply, and cared without measure. His adventurous spirit, his
dedication, and his kindness will always be remembered.
Andrew's Memorial Service will be Saturday November 9, 2024.
