Audrey Lucile de Pass passed away peacefully at her home in Pollock Pines, Monday Nov. 23, 2015. Audrey is survived by her husband Ron, daughter Georgianna Tippo of Enfield, CT; son Michael Johnston of Citrus Heights, CA; son Steven Johnston of Petaluma, CA; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and many, many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her eldest son Barry Johnston of San Jose, CA.
Audrey was born in San Francisco July 20, 1924. She graduated from S.F. Balboa High School and embarked on a very successful singing career, including auditions with Paul Whiteman and Lawrence Welk. Audrey’s singing career included performances at several clubs in Tin Pan Alley and entertaining the troops during WWII.
A Celebration of Audrey’s life will take place Saturday, December 19, 2015, at 2:00pm at Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2855 Cold Springs Road, Placerville, CA.
