Barbara Alice Jespersen
December 2, 1925 – December 6, 2022
Barbara Alice (Kelsey) Jespersen was born and raised in Canoga Park, California. After her completion of high school, she married the one man that she had ever dated or cared for, Leslie B. Jespersen. In 1954, they moved to Placerville where she resided for the remainder of her life. She was a homemaker, raising five children. She enjoyed gardening, canning, baking, knitting, crocheting and embroidering. She and Leslie were married for 55 years prior to his death 1997.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Leslie, and sons John and Thomas. She is survived by three children, Charles Jespersen (Genell) of Saluda, NC, Jennifer Reed (Mike) of Placerville, and Laurel Young (Robert) of Saluda, NC, 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
