

Cara D. Hutchinson passed away suddenly at home in Rancho Murieta on May 15, 2015. Cara is the loving daughter of Helga Tixel and the Late Reinhard Tixel and sister of Arno Tixel. She leaves behind many relatives in the U.S. and in Europe.
Cara was born in San Francisco on February 17, 1962, was raised in San Carlos and lived in Diamond Springs from 2005 till 2013. She worked for Franklin Templeton for 26 years, enjoying her career there, and often contributing very long hours. She started out as a temporary employee in the San Mateo office and worked her way up while attending night school to receive her BA degree in Business. She then transferred to the Luxembourg office. The next move brought her back to St. Petersburg in Florida and then to her most recent position as Director of Vendor Relations in the Rancho Cordova office, bringing her back to her native California. Cara was President of the Arts Council of El Dorado County, a franchise owner of Handy Pro in El Dorado County and was part of Successful Thinkers networking group. Cara was very passionate about photography, reading and traveling, completing 2 “Round the World Trips” and planning a third. It’s hard to think of a country that Cara has not been to and talked about.
A Celebration of Cara’s life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2855 Cold Springs Rd., Placerville, CA. Private inurnment has been held.
