Born Claire Loretta Jouanneau on December 5, 1916 in Los Angeles, CA, passed away on August 3, 2011 in Rancho Cordova, CA at the age of 94. A longtime resident of Placerville, CA, she was predeceased by her husband of sixty three years, Roy Embry Hill. Claire is survived by her son Roy L. Hill and his wife Frances of Garden Valley, and her daughter Carole L. Orelli and her husband Patrick of Rancho Cordova, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren. Claire was a very loving mother and wife.
