Cordell Kelly

January 22, 1945 - January 17, 2014

Cordell “Kelly”F. Kelly passed away in Placerville on January 17, 2014. Beloved husband of 45 years to Shirley Kelly of Placerville; loving father of Lonnie (Judy) Kelly and September (Shannon) Miller; brother of Janice (Bob) Wilkinson; devoted grandfather of Lonnie, Jr., Casey, Chelsey, Joseph and Katelyn.

Kelly was born in Sacramento on January 22, 1945 and has lived in Placerville since 1978. Kelly was a steel fitter at P.D.M./Strocal of Sacramento, retiring after 30 years and went on to work 10 years at Walmart in Placerville. A Viet Nam Veteran of the USNavy, he was a member of the Lions Club of Diamond Springs, a lifetime member of the NRA and a Ham Radio operator, call sign WB6ROU.

A viewing will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 11 am till 1 pm at the Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2855 Cold Springs Rd., Placerville followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm. Interment with military honors will be immediately after the service at Westwood Hills Memorial Park, Placerville.
