It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Merrill at 98 years old, in Sacramento, California, who passed away on August 11,2025 surrounded by family.
Donna was born on June 27,1927 in Lodi, CA to Emma and Paul Raridan . She grew up in Sacramento and is survived by six of her seven children, countless grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Mark Merrill, Eric Merrill, Craig Merrill, Keith and Lisa Merrill, Lynette Wall, and Ellen and Scott Morris will celebrate the life of their mother.
Donna will be remembered for her kindness, faith, and love for her family. She joins her beloved husband of 83 years ,Ed Merrill , and son Bruce Merrill in heaven.
A service to honor Donna’s life will be held on September 18, 2025 at 11am at St.Patrick Catholic Church at 3109 Sacramento St, Placerville, CA 95667. There will be a burial and reception to follow hosted by family. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to her caregivers.
