Trusting In the promises of Jesus Christ, Dorothy Gardner of Placerville, CA, went to meet her Savior on Monday, July 8, 2013.
Dottie is survived by her husband of 64 years, Hugh; her son Donald Gardner of Florida; her son David (Marlene) Gardner of Michigan and her daughter Kriste Frankie of California. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
Dottie worked as a realtor for many years in the Foothills area. She was also involved in Stonecroft Ministries and Christian Women’s Club. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school at Gold Country Baptist Church in Shingle Springs.
Services were held yesterday at Gold Country Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dottie’s name to Stonecroft Ministries, 3099 Twin Oaks Rd., Cameron Park, CA 95682. Online condolences may be posted at chapelofthepinesfunerals.com.
